Enjoy Memorial Day weekend hanging out with the Groovy folks in Edmond and OKC metropolitan area.

One of the best ways to start the summer is with a fun free weekend in Edmond.
The Edmond Jazz and Blues Festival is back Saturday, May 29 and Sunday, May 30 for another weekend of entertainment at Stephenson Park, Fifth and Boulevard.

Admission to the festival is free to the public thanks to a large list of sponsors that includes Parkway Men's Wear, Edmond Life & Leisure and many, many more.

The festival starts at 4 p.m. Saturday, May 29 with the Roland Boling Bowling Band. The smooth sounds, with three other acts including Garrett”Big G” Jacobson, continue until 10:30 p.m.

The music starts again Sunday, May 30 at 2 p.m. with Matt Bowling kicking off the day. Five bands take to the stage Sunday. It ends with the Chris Hicks Band wrapping up at 9:30 p.m.

Bring your blankets and chairs to spread out and listen to the music at Stephenson Park on 5th and Boulevard. Keep an eye out for Sherine and I.  We'll be wearing our GroovyEdmond t-shirts and mingling with our community so be sure and say hi.

You can bring a cooler if you would like but once again there will be vendors to take care of any hunger or thirst need.
