Sherine and I being born and raised in the Oklahoma City area have certainly seen it change a lot over the years. Of late it seem the Heartland city is a boom town once again. Raising two sons and working all over the area has left us with a strong sense of community. As the City continues to blossom, our hope is to try and capture a little bit of this renewed spirit on this page. As you can see from the rest of this site, we think the area is pretty Groovy, with lots of cool things to see and do year round.
The Oklahoma City Thunder were the talk of the town this spring and our new team made it to the NBA playoffs. Falling off of a 50-win regular season, we found ourselves at the Ford Center taking on the LA Lakers! Incredible! Even more incredible was how well we did. We came within a shot of going to game 7. Not bad at all. The NBA is on notice. With a team fool of very young athletes, I would be very surprised not to find us in the playoffs next year. As Oklahomans we are natually supportive. We loved our previous NBA team the Hornets, but the Thunder have definately become an intrigal part of our growing community. Check out all the lates with the team any time at:

Music was a big part of my life when I was a student. In fact is still is today. Sherine and I both recieved degrees from The University of Central Oklahoma. Like most college students, our majors changed frequently. For a year, I majored in music and loved being a part of the growing UCO Jazz program. I'm happy to report that the program continues to grow along with the university. They now have their own Jazz Lab located in the heart of Edmond. Last year they branched out further and started The Academy of Contemporary Music at the University of Central Oklahoma, located at 25 S. Oklahoma Avenue in the heart of Bricktown. Students get to learn first hand what it takes to be a musician in today's fast paced music industry. They have live performances regularly for young artist to practice their craft. It is so cool. Check out their website and make time to patron one of their performances. Who knows, you might see the new Garth Brooks or Ronnie Van Zant.
